Chicago Controls starts a typical project by holding a Project Planning Session with all project’s key stakeholders in attendance. During this meeting the key components of the project are identified, with the following general outcome for each project:
- The Objective
- The Scope Statement
- The Detailed Work Breakdown Structure
- The Responsibility Matrix
- The List of Issues and Assumptions
- The Risk Management Plan and Assessment
- The Gantt chart and Integrated Project Timeline
As the liaison to our client, Chicago Control’s project manager works closely with the project team carefully monitoring the project's schedule, budget, and resources in each phase of the project. The project manager submits regular progress reports to the client ensuring that all issues and/or concerns are addressed quickly and efficiently, while lowering costs and increasing productivity. At project’s completion, a comprehensive Project Close-out meeting is held to discuss lessons learned, complete the final project processes and wrap up the project.
Chicago Control’s approach to project management:
- Maintains communications with client throughout the project
- Minimizes deviations and ensures clean protocol execution
- Identifies schedule impacts in advance and plans accordingly
- Eliminates redundant activities
- Reduces clients’ cost and increases their productivity
